Chat Now button will be visible under vendor’s single product page and the Store page.
Now it’s time for your customers to directly interact with store vendors.
Sellers may manage chat requests from their Dashboard -> Left menu Chat Box
Chat Online and Chat Offline #
If the Store is online, the buyer will have a message saying the seller is available for chat, but if the seller is offline, the buyer will have a disclaimer on the chatbox saying that “None of our operators are available at the moment. Please, try again later or leave us a message. We will contact you by email”. Either way, the buyer can send a message, that will be sent to the store as an offline message.
If the Store is online, when the buyer clicks on the “Chat Now” button, the chat opens with the message “Have a question? Start Chat Now!” The buyer will fill the name and email fields and click “START CHAT”. The chat will be available on the same page for the buyer, and on the Store Manager Dashboard, on the Chat Box module.
How to get Online on Chat #
In order to buyers to see the Store as Online, sellers need to update their status to online. To do that:
- Go to your Store Manager Dashboard
- Choose the Chat Box Module
- Click on the Green button that says “Online” to be Online
- Click again to make yourself Offline
Offline Messages and Chat History #
To check offline Messages or/and Chat history the sellers have this two options on the top Right, on the Chat Box module. The offline messages dashboard will display the email and the message sent by the buyer, so you can reply via email.
