A good Marketing strategy is essential to the success of any business. The most important part of marketing your listings is creating a product that will convert views into sales.

Some tips to optimizing your Product:

  • Keep titles short and assertive.
  • Describe your items accurately.
  • Use clear, engaging product photos.
  • Price competitively.
  • Communicate all purchasing details like shipping timelines, rates, and options in a clear way.

Once your listings are optimized for marketing, try these marketing methods:

  • Social Media
  • Coupons and sales
  • Paid SVM ads Program

Using social media is a powerful way to market your shop and reach more shoppers. Share any of these types of updates from your shop to sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest

  • Latest listings you’ve added
  • Recent milestones successes, like a shop birthday
  • Active or upcoming sales and coupons
  • 5-star reviews
  • Items you’ve favorited
  • Shop updates

Coupons and sales #

Offering discounts in your shop is a smart marketing tactic that can help bring new shoppers in and retain customer loyalty. Strategic promotions might encourage new customers to buy, entice shoppers to spend more than they usually would, or even clear out old inventory.

To set up a sale or coupon:

  1. On, click the Your Account icon, then click Shop Manager.
  2. Choose the Coupons tab.
  3. Click  Add new” button on the top right corner.
  4. Specify which type of discount you want to offer:
    • Coupon Settings: define the coupon name and description, type of discount, number of coupons you wish to make available, expiring date, and if you allow the coupon to show on your store and if you allow buyers to enjoy free shipping when using your coupon code.
    • Restrictions: Scrolling down on the same page you may set up the following fields – Minimum and maximum spend allowed to use the coupon code, if it’s an individual use only, if excludes sale items and all the products and categories allow to be used with the coupon. Email restrictions can also be placed in case you wish to restrict a particular client from using the coupon code.
    • Limit: Finally you should determine the usage limit per coupon, limit usage to X items, and usage limit per user.
